Thoughts on the Rainbow Bridge

It's been a sad week here at Second City Pet Care. Losing dogs is the by far the hardest part of our job, but sadly it's a reality we have to deal with often. This week though, three of our beloved longtime clients passed away. They were all seniors who lived long, happy lives with humans who loved and cared for them dearly. We were privileged to get to spend time with them for many years. As humans who live with and love pets, we know that the time will come to say goodbye for all of our best furry friends.  Bidding farewell to three old friends in the course of a week just made me stop and appreciate the time we have with the furry kids we call our own. If you are lucky enough to have your best furry friend with you right now, give 'em a little extra love today, an extra go-round the block, a snuggle on the couch. Their time is short,  so make the moments count while you can.
